Description
S/O to , and for being such rad beta-readers.
So after many days and nights of crying and procrastinating on my responsibilities, I've finally finished this update.
I changed Gary's palette and design a bit, and we reveal yet another battle form!
And who are the Rocketeers? They sound fishy. What kind of political civil rights group wears an outfit like THAT?! More on Gary's side of the story later.
....I can already see it now. The Clary shippers rise from the ashes of like, the 4th update, chanting their shipping mantra. Oh Clare, why did you punch him in the face like that?! You know he's a sensitive boy.
Then we get to meet Virgil, the spoiled young Charmander who has never worked an honest day in his life. More on him later, if we even get that, because it looks like he's gotten himself into some trouble...
We are slowly approaching the end of the first Quarter of Clare's Story. Thanks for sticking around!
I also tried playing with the light sourcing in this update. It was a bit difficult, but I think I did it right! Hollah at me if you see inconsistent art styles~ Hollah at me if you see all the half-assed backgrounds. Yeyeeee.
When will the next update be? I honestly have no idea, but if I suddenly gain a new perspective on this comic and favor speedy updates, it may be almost completely in black and white.
Manga Studio gets easier to use the more you use it. I haven't opened Photoshop up in nearly two months! While each program is great, Manga Studio 5 really does what it says it will do. It's a light enough program that this monstrosity of an update resulted in less than a quarter of the lag and heat my laptop would produced when being worked on in Photoshop. The only issues I 've had with lagging were when I was attempting to use it during my last stream. Also, it sure is nice to be able to use stabilizers again.
First: Clare's Story 1
Last: Clare's Story 15
Next: Clare's Story 17

I would have shocked Gary for joining team Rocket (not even subtle here) if Clare wasn't a dunce for forgetting thunder shock.
