Basically, this is like a quick refresh your mind post.

First I would like to thank everyone for all the beautiful submissions!!!


This group is all about those who create and craft and hand make jewelry.  Who put hours of time into an item that is created with passion and maybe even your own blood, sweat and tears!

(This group is not to showcase retailers or mass market products.)


This is a growing creation!!    

This group is maintained daily, with the rare exception of DA blunders, severe sickness or hospitalization on my part etc.  At the moment it is just me, no need for additional admins.  


Requests

 Please be kind and civil to everyone here.

 Please try to make sure your images/photos are clear and not blurry.  It makes for a better presentation for you and for others to view.  

 Please do not submit any adult only deviations, they will get rejected.

 Please try to limit your submissions to 10 or so a day.  

 Please only one submission per item, no multiples of a single item!

 Please, PLEASE try to submit things in the appropriate folder! (There is a drop down menu on the top of the submit screen that allows you to choose the folder you need.)


All About Folders

 "Featured" - On occasion there are journals that will be posted that feature items that have been submitted to the group, this folder will showcase those items as they are featured.

 "Store Ads" - This folder is for those who would like to bring attention to their online shop/store. Create and advertisement and place it here, make sure to include the link to your shop either on the ad or in the description.

"Necklaces, Chokers and Bolos" - Items in this folder should be necklaces that include or are attached to a beaded or special linked chain, or necklaces that have matching handmade clasps. If your item is a pendant that is hung on a plain chain, please upload it to the folder for "pendants only".

"Pendants only" - This folder is for pendants only and pendants that are freely moving on simple chains, cording or ribbon. If your pendant is connected to a beaded or a handmade linked chain, has a matching handmade clasp or closure, or is directly connected as to the chain so that it does not move freely then please submit it to the Necklaces folder.

 "Earrings and Ear cuffs and wraps" - This folder is to showcase all types of earrings and ear decorations such as cuffs and wraps!

 "Bracelets, Anklets and armbands" - This is where you will find Bracelets, Anklets, Armbands and Bracers

 "Matching Sets" - As the title of this folder says, this is where Matching sets are showcased, any combination of matching items such as necklaces, rings, earrings, bracelets, etc.

"Rings and Toe Rings" - Simply put, this folder is for handmade rings and toe rings.

"Pins, brooches and cuff links" - This folder showcases items such as cuff links, lapel pins, tie pins, brooches, and cloak/coat pins and clasps.

"Hair accessories and crowns" - Here you will find hair pins, barrets, combs, clips, ties and hair/head crowns/circlets.

"Beads and Components" - This folder is to showcase handmade beads and components such as head pins, bails and clasps.

"Charms, Key chains and belt buckles" - Items in this folder are charms for phones, glasses, bracelets etc, Keychains and Belt buckles.

"Body jewelry" - Here is a place (like no other I've seen) where items such as body chains and body piercing studs and belly rings can be found. (Please keep the photo shots descent here for example: do not use a live model for nipple rings and such!)

 "Concepts and Designs" - Here is a place to showcase your jewelry design ideas and concepts. Please remember that in some cases it is necessary to copywrite these sort of submissions and understand that posting them here is at your own risk.

 "Tutorials" - If you feel like sharing your process of creation with others, this is where you would submit those tutorials and DIY (Do It Yourself) guides. Feel free to inspire others, but remember this means you will see items similar to your own later submitted!

 "Other jeweled and handcrafted items has changed to " Other jeweled, stone, glass, or metal items"  If you submit something that does not fall into any of the categories folders available then it may go here.  However, this does not include just any crafted item.  Books, photography, photo frames etc.  do not apply to this group.  I'm sure there are a plethora of other groups out there for those items.

 Please feel free to leave a message with any suggestions that may help our group continue to grow and develop into one of DA's most popular Jewelry Groups.  (Other than paying for a super group, unless you want to foot that bill... its a bit too expensive for me!)
