My Bio

We write TG stories for people who are deathly afraid of TG stories. Because they know on some level that they need it to happen to them for real, but they don't know how or why, and they can't imagine a world where these desires are allowed.

Our stories are scary and difficult because they take those fears seriously.

Today while everyone was chatting in IRC, I finally put on the Oculus Quest and loaded VRChat. I’d walked through the tutorial already, on my tablet outside of VR, and I knew what avatar I wanted. So I went over to the mirror and selected it. I looked in the mirror, and saw an anime foxgirl. I looked down at myself, and saw an anime foxgirl's traditional Japanese clothes. Or what look sort of like them. She crouched when I did. Her hands followed my movement, pressing up against each other when I put them together. I waved at myself in the mirror. I nervously made the peace sign with one hand, and my reflection did right back at me. I put one palm to my cheek, unable to process what I was seeing. Just that it was there, and it was me, and it was real. My cheeks were burning. I logged out after just two or three minutes. They’d given me so much to process. Also I needed to check on chat. But like It didn’t feel like a video game. It didn’t feel like a chat app. It felt like

The first thing I noticed, laying next to Yui-chan on my bed, was just how big her eyes were. It looks natural from a distance, since you're used to the art style, but from a foot or two away you really notice it. The second thing I noticed was that she didn't move, except talking and breathing and closing her eyes. Not in One Room VR, on my phone. It was still kind of nervewracking having her introduce herself at first. Here I was, face to face with a mythical creature. Which may be ironic when I say that, but it was intimidating, even though I was taller than her. We didn't "do anything," obviously. Apple wouldn't have allowed it. But it was clear that our relationship was meant to be intimate. She even offered to clean my ears (as one does when one is close to someone). Later on I got PlayStation VR, because the cardboard phone headset just wasn't enough. And it turns out there is actually a free PSVR game where you can be an anime girl, and date one as well: The Fate/Grand

I just found out that I’m literally going to become an anime girl soon, in VR. I don’t know how to process this. It’s almost as scary as my first transition, just because of how much it means to me.

Hi there! I read the comment you left on my story earlier and intended to get back to it later throughout the weekend (I was on my way back home from work when I read it), but saw that you deleted it by now. Any particular reason for that?

I’m sorry for the intrusion. I didn’t think the criticism and comparison was kind or necessary.

Nah, I don't think there was anything wrong with your criticism at all. Thing is, positive or negative, as long as it's feedback that doesn't just turn into insults or just a one-liner that doesn't actually say much of anything, any sort of comment is fine by me, so I didn't consider it an intrusion at all (in fact, comments that look at a work from a different perspective are usually the most valuable ones to me). How much I agree with a comment itself is another story entirely, though yeah, I don't think you did anything wrong from what I still remember of your comment.

I will keep that in mind ...

Inori Literature Club actually began life as sort of a response to your "soft yuri" series, because I wanted to capture how I thought it would actually feel to be in that situation.

I guess I find it a worthwhile challenge to try to put actual people in these fantasy scenarios, instead of erasing and overwriting them. I find it more reassuring and less horrifying. It is very emotionally difficult to write, though, and to read.

Are you really going to do a continuation of the Songs series, like, a fic series start from the end of it?

Sorry, I missed this comment somehow. >_>

I've actually been writing a sequel and am a little ways in ... I'm just not sure that I'm on the right track. I'm trying, though.

Seems like you can reupload the whole series on somewhere outside DA on the meantime
