Perseid Meteor Shower

Hour long exposure during the Perseid Meteor Shower. I should of pointed the camera a little to the left, because the biggest meteor I have ever seen was just out of frame. Still amazing to see.

The weird lights on the lower part of the frame are cars driving by

Awesome photo!! I've not been lucky enough to see the Perseids for a few years, but they're pretty amazing... good idea to take such a long exposure :)

Nice start trail. :) I want to do one sometime, but I need to get a remote. Awesome picture, I like the car lights. They add something to it. =P

Great photo... Although I don't see any meteors in it, unless I'm missing them?

I can't see neiter. Maybe 1 hour exposure was too long for those short appearances of the meteors to be visible?

I was lucky, I got to see 3 meteors at random while driving through the desert in SoCal last weekend.
