Hi friends—thank you for all of your hard work, kind support, & for never giving up!! ^v^!!!
I’d like to point out & express my sincerest thanks to GamersforGood (G4G), where Liz & her team created a magnificent collection of more than 500 artists’ works—for their latest, #UnderTale #Charity #Artbook!!
Because their team demonstrated such consideration, graciousness & flexibility, they even made room for a fan art piece that I created! See page 91!
If you get the chance, I hope that you might consider supporting any one of G4G's charitable causes: www.gamersforgood.com
It’s never too late to be kind!!!
All the best,
Jeanette (aka JetMalek)
What a Writer IsI was recently reading a book by Kathryn Lasky, the author of the Guardians of Ga'Hoole series, but instead of the characters being owls, they are wolves. I read the author's note, and she explained what writing is to her. "I have always thought that writing is not a solitary performance, but a collaborative one between an author and the past--what she has read, listened to, and absorbed. The shoulders of giants are not just reserved for scientists as Newton suggested, but writers and artists perch there as well."Today's the one year anniversary of this journal, when you and I first met. It's been an amazing year with you, Jet. Here's to the next one
As I jot this down, it's 3:01 in the morning on November 29th, 2016. I know, I shouldn't be up at this time, but I just have to get this down. In my opinion, being a writer says a lot of things about oneself. Telling someone that you're a writer says "I am someone with imagination, and I want that imagination to turn into something more."
That is powerful! I'll agree with Mrs. Lasky, that writing is a collaborative effort, never singular
