Hey, this is truly stunning. I'm wondering, since I'm also aspiring to make such projects with Photoshop, did you get/make all the needed files yourself? Or did you loan others freely usable, uncopyrighted stocks? I see you have some stock there, but did you do all the rest yourself? How did you edit it, what tools? Note that I have been through and followed tons of Adobe Creative Suite 6 tutorials. I'm an ambitious graphic designer, who would benefit and be eternally thankful for a helpful response on how to improve. Either way, this is marvellous and I think it should be featured as much places as possible. Thank you for this.

Thank you! In this piece I only used stock provided by other individuals but I have also used my own stock in other images. Most of my stock comes from this website sxc.hu or morguefile and I create my own backgrounds with those images. I avoid using premade backgrounds. I now use photoshop cs5 but I used to work with GIMP and that is were I learned most how to do photomanipulations. It is good that you have used those tutorials, I don't use tutorials but they will probably help you learn how to use the software in a shorter amount of time. I'm not sure if these are the responses you were looking for so if you have any other questions feel free to ask. Sorry for the late reply and thanks again for the support :D

Thanks for response. :) Better late than never :) What you said partly answers me questions, in terms of program and general knowledge among this subject, but what I'm more eager to know is which specific tools you used and how. The best way to do this would be to take a screenshot of the files or link me to the PSD so I could see for myself. This might come as a surprise and you might strictly be saying "NO!", but if I am to learn the software in a short amount of time, as you say.. This would definetely be the best way cause I could see what you did, and make use of this knowledge. If you have any other suggestions, just tell me :D Thanks again for reply and help. :)
