Oh wow I didnt know that was why they called em that, Id love to see a pic :) My blood cant really curl up much, shes too fat :D She sleeps in a hair-pin shape bless her, tail to nose. Mine was a bit hissy at first but shes settled right in and might even quite like being handled now.

I feed mine dead mice. Do you not worry about your snake getting hurt?

I bought the snake as an adult. I tried feeding it dead mice it wouldn't eat them, it was used to eating live mice. And about worried about it hurting the snake. No not really, it only take about 10 seconds or less for the snake to get the mouse. The three pics on here are actually three different mice. I only had a few seconds to drop the mouse/mice in and get a good shot.

Oh right. My blood python would be useless at catching mice, she struggles enough with the dead ones, but does eat them eventually. Im glad I dont have to deal with live food though :( Is the snake friendly?

My snake is a big chicken, any time you make any sudden movements or touch his head it curls up into a ball (hence the name Ball Python)

It was a live mouse. Has since been digested by the snake.

:-) Thanks. I have pictures of mice actually being eaten too. But I like these better. That way people can just imagine whatever they want.
