Garibaldi Mermaid

Brenda and the crew gathered off the coast of Catalina to get some ocean mermaid shots. The water was cloudy as the surf stirred up sand, so we only got a few usable images. But this is one of them. I am soooo glad we went though, because the giribaldi fish local to catalina just so happen to match my mermaid tail ^_^!!
Costume: I can post the designs etc... for the mermaid tail if anyone's interested. It took a lot of work to make these tails come into existence. But the basic form is neoprene with flowy fabric, covered with silicon scales.

So i did a lot of research and planning before i made these tails . . . and i designed them specifically to be photographed (they are quite difficult to swim in). i still love them, but i am still learning how to make better and better tails.
however there are a lot of websites out there made and run by other mermaid girls with material recommendations and pattern ideas etc etc. ^_^ happy tail making
