I was browsing along some galleries late last night and came upon a picture that I had previously seen under another artists name.  Outraged, I immediately called the person out on the deviation (because of course they didn't credit any one besides themselves) and I linked up the original artist.  Feeling rather pleased with myself, I went to check to see if any progress had been made to correct the issue.  Of course....not.

I went back to look at the original deviation again and realized...its  been cut out.  WTFH is wrong with people that they think they can just cut out what they like, throw some color or flashy background on it, and say that it's theirs??  I can understand stock art and the people that use it, but this is OBVIOUSLY copy righted.  And at this point, I don't even know who the rightful artist of this piece is anymore, so I can't even tell them that their work is being snatched.  Stealing is stealing, DON'T DO IT!!!

Contest!!!!

i will be hosting an art contest from now til All Hallow's Eve.  

Objective: Draw your favorite character, be it a City of Heroes character, or original character, as an undead, or ZOMBIE!!!  

Reason: Jess is an Evil Dead fan and it's gettin' Halloweeny time

Prizes or...Why you should participate:

1st prize: An original art piece created by me with your own desired subject matter and a one month subscription to Deviant Art (i'll try to get better between now and then, I swear)

Entries will not necessarily be judged based on skill.  Creativity is a plus, humor is always good, and I love a good color palette   (what could be funnier than zombies? ever think of what a marshmallow zombie would look like?  or a zombie moose?)
All pieces will be judged solely by me.  I will post entries in my journal is I receive them.

The best present of all was that one of my friends finally had her little
baby girl at 11:45 pm last night, and now we have the same birthday!
