Live Streams of the Boulder and Fleet webcomic
I draw the Boulder and Fleet: Adventurers for Hire webcomic (http://boulderandfleet.com) entirely digitally using Manga Studio 5/Clip Studio Paint on the Surface Pro 2, and some readers have asked about how that process works. So I decided to start holding some live streams while I draw the comic! You can check out the videos via this YouTube playlist: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLTO0FcTL2hV3Slm9YYf7H-l77VdJXZGX0 Or subscribe to my YouTube channel to get updates on when new videos drop: https://www.youtube.com/user/comicsaregreat
Pay What You Want for Online Comics Workshops
My pal Rob Stenzinger and I have re-released some visual storytelling workshops over at Lean Into Art (http://www.leanintoart.com/workshops). On that page you'll find a 7-hour bundle of comics tutorials called Comics Fundamentals and a 4-hour tutorial on sound design called FTAM! Creating Sound Elements in Adobe Illustrator. And here's the best part--you can download them at whatever price you think is fair--even free! Rob also has some workshops on developing video games from your comics stories and creating an awesome user experience on your comics website--also for free (or whatever you feel like paying). Videos are DRM-free and availab
30 Classes in 30 Days!
As you may or may not know, I teach comics classes in addition to making comics. And this November I'm putting together a big event with a bunch of my cartoonist friends called Lean Into Art: 30 Classes in 30 Days. Every day during the month of November, we're going to host a live interactive workshop or presentation on the site. Here are a few of the classes we've got lined up already: - Creating Compelling Characters with Tyler James (http://leanintoart.com/creating-compelling-characters/) - Foundations of Dynamic Linework with Brandon Dayton (http://leanintoart.com/foundations-of-dynamic-linewor/) - Comics Fundamentals, with me (http:/

Hi Jerzy! thanks for the advice about gimp! So happy  I downloaded it yesterday, but now i have no idea how to use it!
All the tools popped up on the screen, but there wasn't a page for me to draw on. :? Do you know how I could open one?

I believe if you go up to the top menu and choose File>New (or New Canvas), you should be able to create a new page to draw on. Let me know if you can't get it to work.
