Hello, All!

It's been ages since I've submitted a journal entry!  Life is SO busy, sometimes I just can't keep up!  I haven't been making enough time in my day for art, and that is a crime against nature.  MY nature!  Haha!  I'm really going to make a better effort to do more art commencing NOW!  I love lurking and staring in wide-eyed wonder at all of your creations.  It truly does give me lots of inspiration!  Now I just need to "MAKE ART EVERY DAY"!!!  My heart is in the right place!  Look forward to seeing more from all of you, as well!  Hope you're all enjoying Summer, wherever you are!

Hello fellow artists!

Just saying hi and wanting to say how much I adore coming on here and viewing all the amazing works!  You guys rock!  Thanks for providing me with lots of inspiration, and keep on doing what you do!  So many unique styles and techniques!  I never get tired of looking at all the beauty!

My, but it's been quite some time since I updated my Journal.  So much has happened.  I'm not going to detail everything, but significant to my art, there have been some major events that have effected my ability or inspiration to create.  

November was a heavy loss month for me.  At the top of the month, I had to say goodbye to my sweet fur-baby kitty-girl, Roxie, due to late stage kidney failure and Hyperthyroid.  She was 12.  It tore me apart.  She's been my loving companion since a bit after my hubby passed.  And that anniversary occurred just a few days ago.

And the piece de resistance was the sad passing of my best friend for my whole life, pretty much.  She was an awesome and wonderful person and that happened two days before the above mentioned sad anniversary.  As you can imagine, I've been quite somber after all this. I miss her so very much! 

This was also the first time in my life I've ever been alone on Thanksgiving.  The thought of this didn't bother me too much at all before I lost my kitty and then my best friend.  Whew!  Am I glad November is over.  Looking forward to a fresh new year ahead...well, first, let me get through Christmas!

I'm okay.  I've been laying low and thinking too hard, but I'll pull through.  I always do.

Really hoping to put out some creative efforts here soon.  I'm anxious to make art, but I can't force it!  So, when my muse returns, I'll post more for you guys!
