Marvel Animation Character Design, X-MEN '97, franchise poster.

For Season One, the honor fell to me to assist in marketing the series by fully illustrating the line art for what would be a group poster image. The original rough sketch by Supervising Director Jake Castorena was provided to me, laying out the composition. I put the various characters on-model as individual elements, adhering to the art style established by Lead Character Designer Amelia Vidal. Addressing Amelia's notes, I proceeded to final clean-up and composition adjustments. At some point, pending official approvals, I hope to add my own selections of color and SFX as fan art, as well as post each character separately.
*It has come to my attention that this line art has been shared online prior to this release. ANYONE posting this artwork, claiming it as their own creation is LYING to you. I think it's a very sad state of affairs when others seek to somehow elevate themselves by taking credit for things they haven't done. The ONLY entities rightfully credited for this line art are Disney/Marvel, Marvel Comics, the original character creators, Jake Castorena, Amelia Vidal, and myself, JKMoore.

This is awesome! In what capacity was Tim Levins involved? I see his Magneto up top, and maybe his Beast? It's very fun the way multiple artists worked on the marketing art but you can barely tell!
