Tho some may judge my unpubliosjed DOMDANIEL DAZE to be a slavish take on Gogwarts, there are a lot of differences.
The closest to the Sortng ceremonmy (a sort of Chinese Auction) would be my - CHAPEL PERILOUS !
There each 3rd year student would be tested for the following 4 qualities:
1 - Wand (practicality)_
2 - Sword (defense & attack)
3 - Chalice (communion & conviciality)
4 - Pentacle (POWER !)
Each faces their greatest fear and not all will emerge unscathed.
