The bifurcation diagram of the logistics map can be mapped to the X-axis (or real axis) of the Mandelbrot set. This image is located near the onset of chaos in the bifucation diagram. In the Mandelbrot set, this is the border between the main bulbs and the main antenna. All those branches around the main shapes get bigger and denser in these areas. At the moment my focus is on shapes (no distracting colors, just black and white) in this area.
