Red Robe A'Langlaise by jeriquan Red Robe A'Langlaise by jeriquan
Made from the JP Ryan pattern out of red and gold acetate brocade from the Joann's home dec department.

I wore this dress recently to the IXth's holiday party with rave reviews. I think the fabric really hides the fact that my stays don't fit, the bodice is too short and my gray fleece petticoat is sticking out in one of the photos.

This is a revision. I tightened the sleeves, took off the flounces and added hooks and eyes. Someday, I'll re-cut the bodice so the waist isn't two inches too short, and I'll re-attach the flounces on the cuffs.

I also want to make a new linen shift, as this one just kind of looked funny with it.
