Regular Life Reviews: 65-76

Episode 65: A Life Without Joy We see Jeremy reeling from the death of his daughter still, becoming extremely depressed. It's understandable, considering he lost the adopted daughter he raised. Meanwhile Jeremytwo and Chadtwo, filled with rage at their sources, make a deal with Lord Ravanaugh to work together against Jeremy. Months pass and the real Jeremy is just as dead inside, although his friends try very hard to get him to cheer up. It ends in his friends presumably being taken hostage. I'd give it a 9/10. Episode 66: Blinded By Rage In this episode, Jeremy's friends meet a subterranean humanoid in the pit that befriends them. Jeremy himself does eventually break out of his depression and makes an attempt at saving his friends after a face-off with Jeremytwo and Lord Ravanaugh. He almost loses his soul to Jeremytwo, who has been extremely angry at him for a trivial reason. I'm glad Jeremy broke out of his depression, and the underground humans that Lord Ravanaugh leads are interesting, but this one's an 8/10. Still, keep up the good work, Menchi and Xzuxk. Episode 67: H2Ohno A Shelby centered episode! Nice! Here, we see Shelby take a much-deserved day off, except no, that isn't what happens. Rather, Shelby has to save her homeland from becoming essentially a vat of battery acid that kills all the water dragons. She becomes the student of a purple dragon who has multiple abilities and learns how to use her long-buried fire dragon abilities, thus destroying the eel dragons (well, making their leader retreat, anyway) and restoring order to her homeland. This one's an 11/10 because it's an awesome Shelby centered episode. Episode 68: Jeremytwo's Realization This episode made future episodes make a lot more sense. Essentially the entire plot is Jeremytwo living the actual Jeremy's life. Because well, he's Jeremytwo, it doesn't go so well. He ditches everyone and is almost murdered after leaving because he feels like he doesn't belong. It's important to the plot of the series, I suppose, but I wasn't the biggest fan of it. 7.5/10 Episode 69: Jeremy Gets Shredded The "funni number" episode. Okay, sorry, onto the actual review. In this one, Jeremytwo gets a gym membership and like the title says, gets way too wrapped up in it. He gets a rival who he beats in an arm wrestling competition and humiliates before said rival is almost beaten with a sledgehammer? It's a fun episode, 9.5/10. Episode 70: Tech Bros Remember that internship offered to Jeremy in Blinded By Rage? Well, Jeremytwo takes it and begins working for RedGuard. Him and Chad meet some new friends. My favorite of these has got to be Omar. He's an excellent autistic representation, although I think he deserves better friends than the ones he has. He even fully takes the fall for an accident involving financial AI. It's a 10.5/10. Episode 71: Love Birds Admittedly, until it was explained to me, I thought this would be my least favorite episode of this season. This is because I find its plot incredibly mean towards Claire. Essentially, Jeremytwo carries on a relationship with a mentor/coworker and even takes her on a date while his body is still (presumably?) taken by Claire. Jeremytwo absolutely humiliates Claire, even having her thrown in jail for being "crazy". I dunno, even with the explanation it seems rather cruel. But it's a mere 0.01% higher of a rating. 7.6/10. Sorry, this one is just not it for me. Episode 72: Dude's Night It took 72 episodes, but we finally have a Regular Life parallel to "Guys Night". In it, Chad, Jeremytwo, Omar, Chet and Zane have a night of fun. I really enjoyed the bond Omar makes with Chad throughout this episode, it's really sweet how Chad is such a kind, understanding friend to Omar. Considering the blue ostrich only has one other friend, that was the very literal result of "making a friend". Also everything I could have wanted in this type of episode. 10/10. Episode 73: Fatality Among US Okay, longtime friends or fans of your favorite sheep here know I'm a sucker for a good murder mystery, and this episode is just that. During a Halloween party at a nightclub, a masked killer goes on a rampage, slaughtering people left and right. Among Us jokes aside, I was expecting the worst and thought Omar was indeed the mysterious masked killer, but I was thankfully mistaken. It turns out to be a literal impostor that Paladin incapacitates without knowing. 12/10 Episode 74: The Red Vial Thanks to an experimental enhancement drug, Grayson is formidable and looking for leads when Paladin finds her. Unfortunately, him and Grayson find themselves involved in a red vial fueled turf war with a beaver gang that a roided up Paladin literally tears to shreds, much to Grayson's amazement. Grayson eventually gets the leader's source after threatening to cut out his teeth. Paladin later attacks the supplier, Bula, after he tries to kill Grayson and Melody is revealed to be alive at the end. Shit just got real. 9/10 Episode 75: The Wreckets On an outing, Chad and Omar come across a red panda girl who has been attacked by an incredibly violent gang of experiments influenced by the long dead Wickets. After a battle and run from them, thankfully the gang faces the long arm of the law, although the leader says that they'll be out in no time. I enjoyed this episode, I like this sort of crime fighting storyline. 10/10 Episode 76: Without A Trace We're back to Leaguegend. More shady stuff is happening there, as various dragons are randomly and mysteriously disappearing from there. Shelby teams up with friends to try and get to the bottom of it. They run into a loony mountain goat, which is somehow one of my favorite minor characters. Unfortunately, Shelby at the end ends up disappearing with all the other dragons while searching. 10/10
