Akiko Plushie by Jequila Akiko Plushie by Jequila
Another OC from *naki5 :)

Oh man, I've been wanting a better way to photograph this kind of stuff, so I followed a tut and built this box thing... It didn't really work that well :( I wonder what I did wrong.
Anyone know how to get a crisp, white background while being on the cheap? And without heap of messing around in photoshop?

Thanks :D The image I was working off was drawn with quite a blunt cut, so it was interesting trying to replicate it without it just looking like rectangles.

Thank you :3 Though sadly I couldn't make the shoes as detailed as they were in the reference picture I was given. She's a pretty cool character!

Each plushie you make, just gets better and better! The amount of detail you can work into plushies with felt is insane!

Aww, thanks :3 Once I finish my new pattern for a larger plush, they'll be able to hold a lot more detail n_n
I'm just getting stuck on making the hands look good, but not be too hard to make...

what're you talking about? the background looks fine. o_o you could light it brighter, but the design is pretty hard to mess up.

the plush looks fantastic, i love the detail on her little sandals, and the hair is lovely!

It looks ok because I played in photoshop for ages to get it white ;p
But yeah... maybe more lights for next time.
