Personality & History 

Honey is a complicated mare, to say the least. The one person rule applies very heavily to this mare, anyone else who is not Adam will get bucked and stomped. If you manage to sit on her then you're one lucky person. Very hot, loud, and full of attitude. While keeping true to her gentle nature towards everyone, she does not like other mares and is often 'lead' mare for a reason. Fights are bound to break out if left with a mare she isn't familiar with. While not wild caught, she certainly acts it and much prefers to be free and left to her own devices but also enjoys the company of her handler as well. You won't meet a mare who is more content to follow her rider than Honey, does everything asked without too much a fuss but certainly hot in the arena and can easily rush if left to her own devices, often needing more guidance from Adam. She is very affectionate towards Adam and other humans, even more so towards studs. If she's in season then you need to keep her in check at all times, not afraid to walk up and rub all over a stud and try to entice him to the dark side. Often her personality when it comes to stallions gets her called the 'whore' but in the most loving but truest of ways. Honey can be extremely hot in the arena, rush jumps and get ahead of herself very easily. However, if there is one thing you can count on, she takes care of her rider and can go off a cue as light as a feather. Quick, agile, and responsive on her feet yet bold and calculative with her movements, you can't ask for a better-focused horse in the arena. Who not only responds well to her riders disability but goes largely off leg and seat with single handed cues to help guide her through difficult and rough courses.

History

Honey was originally bred to be a mount for Katalina but due to her being a mare, the two simply did not click and clash with their bold personalities. While Katalina was able to put a majority of ground work and basic under saddle experiences with the mare, they simply didn't get along and only had a mutual respect that allowed them to get so far. Eventually, the mare was passed down to Adam, who she immediately bonded too and fell head over 'hooves' for. Since then the mare has learned commands and cues to allow her to be a quick and effective mount for her rider who is missing an arm. Honey has been at the stables since the beginning, at a time when it was once called Winter Pine Farms (WPF) and eventually had her prefix officially changed to ES when the stables undergo a large change of management among many other things. Now resides in Austria at Eikpyrnir Stables with her handler and rider Adam Caito. Currently advancing and taking on the show jumping/cross country world and proving her worth.
