A very "There Will Come Soft Rains" by Ray Bradbury vibe.

Makes me sad.

Wasn’t that the one where an automated household system of domestic robots continued with their daily routine even after everything around the house had been destroyed by nukes?

EC, the precursor to MAD Magazine, had it adapted into an excellent Weird Science comic book short story. I read it in my dad’s collection. That poor dog! If only they had all slept in...

Very safe bet those people are dead.  Those particular droids come programmed with whatever food matrices they were previously programmed with, and what may be healthy for one alien species can be lethal for others, if one is going by bodily system compatibility.

Plus, the droids are notorious liars who will say anything to elevate their position in life.

The colors, they are excellent, it is as if Oil Painting met Photoshop, or After Effects, Illustrator? XD

It is as if Oil Painting met Digital Art. I can only imagine how much you have went through to have worked on this, and this is coming from someone who has not even seen the original Star Wars films.

Yes, I said it, I have not seen the original films. All in all however, great work! :)

No such thing as "original" Star Wars films, they were never remade.

Oh, heh, sorry. There's a chef competition called Iron Chef, and I was referencing the fact that he was a mechanical chef.
(This wouldn't be the first time I've made a joke that didn't automatically make sense, don't worry.)

Love the different contrast of colors between the morbid scene of the people in the background and the cute, happy, cooking robot! .. Are they dead D-B Is the robot.. evil!?

Very intriguing!
Nice colors and contrasts.

IMO:
I feel that this picture is a metaphor of the future, where many jobs are being replaced by robots. Therefore the humans who did have a job as a waiter/waitress, chef, and so on are run out of jobs and living in the slums and decease just as the people in background.

The colors contrast to make the future so bright and colorful while behind the colorful front of the future you neglect the people in the background who are in darker colors, who are in the "shadow" of the future. One may not see the other side of the coin whenever technology is improved. For example, how people's jobs are taken away, many people just see the improvement in technology as something that is always beneficial.
I am not saying that technology isn't beneficial, but that this picture reminds me of how many view technology in its face value at first

....But then again, I may be looking waaaaaaaaaay too much into this :P
