This is a new drawing, re-creating my 1980 original from p. 3 of the Advanced Dungeons & Dragons adventure A3: Assault on the Aerie of the Slave Lords (TSR Hobbies).
It's 'cuz the guy is tumbling down through a trap door, and I figured it'd add a little sense of his disorientation.
Out of curiosity, why was this one (and it's original) signed upside down? Was it intended to be used with the man falling upside down, or a quirk of how you drew it? I've really been enjoying looking over your works in AD&D and I'm glad so many of them are being saved and recreated.
