But i have a comment. The name of the Queen of Amazons was Ippolyte. Her name means the one who releases the horses. Ippo (ίππος) = horse and Lyo (Λύω) = i release , cast off etc. Her real name (according to written mythology) is Hippolyte (or Hyppoliti). Means the woman who releases the horses.
All known amazon's names has a meaning as they are in Greek language.
For example, Amazon Alkippi , means the amazon who has the power of the horse.
This is just to determine the real Amazon's names.
