This is my Deathwatch rp group's killteam in all it's glory.

From the left there is Varis (a by-the-book Red Scorpions apothecary), Cephas (a paranoid heresy-courting Dark Angels devastator), Vale (Our radical Inquisitor ally), Altair (a fussy and devout Novamarines techmarine), Sire (a renowned rogue trader and diplomat), and Wulfrich (a proud and savage Space Wolf assault marine).

I love the Kill Team, and the art is absolutely fantastic!

And Bombo! The servo skull!

On another note, I guess being hot lets you use alien weapons without being a heretic.

You forgot a character, you didn't name the servo-skull. A skull that badass looking has to be part of the team; (if you'll forgive the crossing of universes) their own version of R2D2, sorta.

I'm not sure those colors are right. It was my understanding that even Apothecaries and Techmarines wore black in the Deathwatch, only having helmets in the color of their profession. Or maybe not. There a ton of Deathwatch art out there, and some of it have them wearing so much gold I almost confuse them for the Hammers of Dorn.

It is incorrect intentionally: During our adventuring, our Red Scorpions apothecary found some white relic armor of his chapter's history, which he now wears all the time. The armor has some very special properties, including the fact that its machine spirit will not allow it to be painted. There was a humorous moment when he got it back to the deathwatch and some servos tried to paint it black, only to have the paint run right off it like water. Being servos, they aren't too bright, and just tried over and over to make it stick.

Not yet, but it definitely will. I was itching to get a bayonet attached for months :D

T'would be HERESY most foul if such a glorious weapon stayed clean!

How are the two non-marine characters holding up? I haven't played Deathwatch myself, but I assume it's pretty deadly for someone not wearing power armor?

They're staying in the game by staying out of the fights. Sire is a diplomat so we're usually tasked with defending him, though he has gotten into some scrapes with us that weren't ideal. Vale is a trained killer, but usually that involves her disappearing at the beginning of combat to do some stealthy stuff during the fight that helps us. Vale is super-dangerous when nobody knows she's there. One time my character was armorless and fighting a possessed Techmarine boss and had only Vale for backup, so we had to stay in cover and play cat-and-mouse with this hulking bastard, knowing he could possibly one-shot either of us.

I ended up having Vale digging through some weapons crates (we were in a storage hangar) to find me a heavy enough weapon while I ran from cover to cover trying to keep him busy with me. It was nuts :D

Since our characters are hulking Space Marines, most enemies ignore the normal humans anyway, seeing them as less of a threat, so they have that going for them.

Are you going to explain what you mean and make this comment exchange worthwhile, or should I just assume you're saying cleavage=bad because "sexualization something something" reasons.

I am not a feminist shithead, and of course, I have nothing against hot ladies showing some skin. But to each thing its place. Warhammer is one of those universes where such fanservice simply doesn't fit. It simply isn't grimdark, in fact, it kills grimdark atmosphere.
