If colors can be associated with gender identities, can wavelengths of the visible spectrum?
Update: I'm happy that many of you like this photo though I'm not sure where the "blatant sexuality" comes in
I never thought I'd be on the other side of a "moralist"'s attacks. I see my fair share of (what I would consider) blatantly sexual pieces on front page and would generally have to agree with the "moralists" sentiments though not with their method of delivery or would I ever make those comments myself. So to those seeing this piece and thinking "booo this is so blatantly sexual, it's not art", I can empathize.
However, I still don't see how this photo is so "blatantly sexual". For me, "sexuality" suggests qualities related to child bearing such a big breasts and wide hips for females anyway The elements, poses, and colors of this photo are intended to evoke a sense of "femininity" (though the color pink used to be associated with masculinity in Victorian times which is why the Haiku was changed from "estrogen" to "hormones").
People often forget that artists themselves do not control what makes front page. The masses fav and the masses are responsible for putting what they like up on the front page. Artists can only create and see if the masses like our creation. What the masses seem to see in this piece, I'm not sure but it's probably not what I see - a bright soft portrait of a girl in an everyday white tunic hitching up thigh highs while trying to bring up some thoughts about gender associations with colors
though perhaps this piece should instead be used to bring up thoughts about the cultural impacts on the definition of sexy 
I don't think this needs to be mature contented though I will be hiding comments that I believe are inappropriate or disrespectful

The picture (and of course the girl) is sexy, but not the same type of sexiness ppl usually mean. I don't know how to describe this exactly. I'd say there is a pure, white, simple sensuality in this picture. So maybe sensual is a better word.
