This is an illustration for my Lupin/Sirius slashfic I'm writing. I'm putting it on my website with a lake applet, so it'll be cool.
Sirius had finally managed a hold on Remus, and as Remus struggled to extricate himself a loud laugh escaped his lips. Sirius smiled as the sound echoed through the night and in his ears. It was a laugh he hadn't heard in little more than fourteen years, and one that he was sure had been heard only by himself. It was a loud, reckless, howling laugh that destroyed Remus' normally cautious, conservative facade and shouted to the world, "I'm young, alive, and in love, and it feels good, dammit! Sirius and I are invincible, and we're going to stay this way forever!" And it was moments like this when Sirius felt the complete depth of his love for Remus, and of how much Remus loved him, and as he turned his playful grip on Remus into a warm embrace, he was glad the water from the lake hid the tear sliding down his cheek.
