Ask the OCs - Airashi Question 5

Even though I just finished a big drawing not too long ago, I found this one took quite some time to create as well (definitely not nearly as long, though I did also tackle another drawing that was long overdue first; waiting for the go ahead before I post that one).  So yeah, just a reminder that I am still doing drawings for the Ask the OCs bit I started.  Progress on them has been kinda slow, and this one wasn't even the next question I got chronologically; I called myself wanting to finish it for Mother's Day, but Sundays typically are not the best time to upload art (from my experience).  So y'all are getting this the day after...! 

So in regards to the context, user Tom-Edian asked a simple but thought-provoking question for Airashi Furuya here; where she sees herself 10 years in the future.  Looking that far ahead obviously gets her thinking about being a mother by that point, living happily with you-know-who...!  You might say that's kinda basic, but considering she'll be going through a lot in the present day to keep up with Mario, I'd say Airashi deserves a pleasant, calm parenthood (and we all know Mario would definitely appreciate it after everything HE'S been through)!  Anyways, I hope you guys like it; planning to finish the rest on the backburner real soon, so for everyone still waiting for answers, please continue to be patient!

P.S. In case it's not too obvious, the baby Airashi is pregnant with in the drawing is Marino.  The other two are Marin (from Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening; if you've seen that character's dad, you know why she's one of Mario's kids here) and Hat Kid (who in my headcanon, is named Mariko).

10/18/2024 Edit: Due to controversy surrounding the namesake for her surname, Toru Furuya, Airashi’s last name is now Miyano. This happened rather recently, so I’m aware you all have gotten used to Furuya being her last name. I hope it still sounds nice...!😅
