I’ve been thinking. Societies (Federation, Klingons, Romulans, Cardassians, etc.) in the Alpha and Beta Quadrants is somewhat more technological advanced than Gamma and Delta Quadrants. Do you think it’s because of these cultural interactions, trades and exchanges, and even wars that speeded techological developments in the Alpha and Beta Quadrants.
Some societies in the Gamma and Delta Quadrants are not as advanced in some fields because of the Borg and the Dominion.
Hi! Do you have time for one small commission, one ship. I would need an ship that is successor to Excelsior II and also supplement to Excelsior III (originally Explorer, Excelsior-B class) and this class need to be something more modern looking then this:
But having basic Excelsior lines, since this new Excelsior IV class was to enter service in 2395. If possible to create such ship? Something like this
'm just seeing this post now. Such a ship that you're asking for was already bashed together years ago. However, it was bashed and released for Bridge Commander. There are plugins available for the game models.

Bridge Commander uses .nif format, and those plugins are still around. Not sure what program you use for 3D modeling. If I can be of assistance, I'm trying to be more active here on DA, even if I'm more of a lurker right now than a contributor.
