Here's the thing, I don't really care, but when I get a lot of pageviews I get happy, then when I don't get many I get a little sad. Especially when I recently made something I'm super proud of. So I don't really care, but it does get an emotional response from me.
I am in between. I want to get noticed, and page views are a measure of that. On the other hand, I want the page views to reflect interest. People used to buy fake page views. I think that was pointless. They made it look like people cared when they didn't. Granted, I am blatantly manipulating another of my statistics (llamas) and I am doing it to get attention.
Well... I can't say no, since pageviews are really motivating, although favs motivate even more, but the more I stick around on DA, the less I tend to care, I rather care about the comments/feedbacks, whether they're for the better or the worse, because commenting takes time and it shows the care someone give, specially knowing which person cares... although I'd say only the comments longer than 10 words count. Faves..... I have a problem with those too, because I tend to see people faving just to make them get into their content, like there are very few there who just fave everything I post, whether it's good or not, and it kind of defeats the purpose, right? Oh well, it's a 50/50 for me, I can't really vote xP, but to give my opinion c:.
