Persuasion

Haha, okay, no need to tell me that a) this looks appallingly like either a wedding-cake topper or a snow-globe or b) that Anne's right arm is missing.
The border is supposed to represent the waters at Bath, where the story's hook-up takes place, but I think the ribbon is a bit much. The image of Anne and the Cap'n already has fixative on it (hence my inability to give Anne an arm) but any ideas on how to fix the border are appreciated.

Anne and Wentworth aren't copyrighted anyone, anymore, because Jane Austen has been dead for more than 70 years. But they are her characters, from the novel Persuasion.

I'm going to Bath in less than a month! Woot!
