So Much For Resolutions...
Believe it or not, I have been very busy drawing. My wife and I are going to Spring Training in Arizona for a week at the end of February. Since this is a good place to get autographs, I figured I better try to get as many of my Brewers figures drawn before I go. I've been drawing one a day with pencil and paper, and will start coloring them in Photoshop next week. Then there will be an avalanche of posts!
Maybe I'll take some pics of other sculptures I've finished and post them in the meantime!
Hope you're all having a wonderful New Year!
Between Chrsitmas cards I've drawn and Christmas projects I've made, I'll have a lot to contribute this month. As I write this I have 3 Chrsitmas sculpture projects in the works. I realized, as we were setting up our decorations this year, that I've made some pretty labor-intensive projects for my wife. Ah, young love... I've always loved this time of year. The holidays, winter sports, road trips to see family, the music, dominating everyone with our Christmas checkerboard and Connect Four game... With four inches of snow on the ground, and four more on the way today, we're pretty much guaranteed a white Christmas this year. I love that
And don't forget Petey Pajamas!
Sorry it's been awhile since I rapped at y'all. (That line will be funny to fans of The Onion circa the late 90's.) I was trying to find the one piece of Thanksgiving art I have. It's from elementary school art class. The pilgrim is in profile and all anatomically wrong. Then there's a "3-D" turkey made of construction paper sticking out of the page. It's horrendous...ly amusing.
Anyway, submissions will be picking up soon. I have a lot of Christmas art including this year's card that I'll be posting.
It's done already!!!! But I'm not posting it until you and Joel get yours in the mail! Settle down or you'll end up on the naughty list! And where is YOUR card? Hmmmm? Hmmmm?
