Moosa by JayFosgitt Moosa by JayFosgitt
Another commission I got at C2E2, where I was asked to draw any character I wanted in the style of the artist Mucha. I've been on such a Rocky and Bullwinkle kick lately that I opted to draw Natasha Fatale. Just a sidenote--I signed the piece "Hota", because it sounded a little like Mucha, and it's the Spanish way to say the letter J, spelled phonetically. In hindsight, I wish I would have signed this piece "Moosa".

I love your take on the Bullwinkle cast, and this is especially cool. I've never heard of Mucha before, though - you've intrigued me! :D

Love it! A couple of years ago, the local university (U of West FL) had an exhibit at their Japan House of some of Alphonse Mucha's art. Lovely stuff, even if I was deathly afraid of messing up anything in that House, since the art was displayed in their tea room. I'm surprised they didn't make me take off my shoes first. Hota is nice, but Moosa is better--just one of those things you think of AFTER you're finished! Great work with Natasha in the Mucha style.
