OMG since when were on DeviantArt?

I had an account as a elementary/middle schooler, then started using tumblr instead (gallery sites are ok but not my favorite way to display art). Now I'm back, as of like a year ago.

Hi! What you think of my arts?

Hey, so how do you begin when drawing your aliens? Sorry, it's just that I can't seem to make non-humanoid forms without it looking... very off.

All my aliens are essentially a mashup of a bunch of different real world animals' traits. I'm no instructor, but if you are having trouble drawing fictional non-humans, I suggest doing artistic studies of the real ones. While practicing their forms and poses, learn about their anatomy, especially the strange ones. The world is full of weird biology, from the foaming sweat of horses to the rotating crystalline style in the stomachs of clams. You don't have to reach far to find something that feels alien on earth.

I love your Runaway to the Stars comics.
