I just finished the last page for Epilogue. It ended up being 12 pages long and will wrap up in the next two weeks. Which means it's time for me to start working on the next story. But right now I'm the indecisive donkey between two bales of hay. I have a bunch of ideas for stories, but I just don't know what I want to do.

As a mental organization method, I sat down and listed all of my story ideas that I have floating around. Some are little more than some scribblings in a note book, some have solid outlines, and few others already have some pages done, but are nowhere near complete. All together, I have 15 distinct ideas floating about that are in various stages of development. Mind you, that doesn't mean 15 stories. Some of these ideas will just sit on the back burner for ever and a day, and end up getting dumped in with some others (like how Earth-N ended up seguing into the Halloween Cameo Caper.)

Right now, I just need to figure out where to start.

I hope you’ll find that hook to get you hooked into a new story! For me sometimes it’s just one scene, one situation I absolutely want to draw, that can totally pull me into drawing the rest of it; it could be a particular battle, but also a funny or saucy situation.
I have been wanting a prehistoric story for a while and it would be fitting well as i’ve never done one, but in that case I can’t really manage to motivate myself drawing pages upon pages of prehistoric flora and fauna

If  you do want to do a prehistoric story, feel free to use Doctor Cromagnon and his dinosaur army.

Oh, just remembered some advice my aunt passed along to me about writing a story, which a teacher of hers told her: start at the end and work your way back.

If anything comes to mind for storylines, I'll let you know. I'm trying to come up with one myself.

I have some ideas for potential antagonists. Apologies if I've mentioned Mesmera already at some point. I don't remember if I have:

Mesmera. My take on her is that she is one of the most powerful psionics in the world. She just has to lock eyes with her target for a few moments, and they are under her complete control. She can even hypnotise someone over a video screen (or Times Square big screen if she can hack into them) as long as she can see her targets.

Silver Lady. The original version is a Venusian (though I don't see anything be able to survive on that hellhole, so I would go with her being from a different planet, or just be human). She has some limits to her abilities, but she can mass hypnotise people.

Master Mystic/My version, Gabriel Ash: The original is heroic, but in my version he is very evil, seeing people as just lab rats or guinea pigs to test out his powers on. I just thought one of the drawings of him looked sinister, hence bad guy. His powers are considerable, and would be a serious threat to anyone who stood in his way.

Iron Maiden/My version, Cheyenne Mendoza or Isolde Pierce (forgot I called her that): Armed and armored, Iron Maiden is a dangerous crime lady.

Lord Skull or Lord Despot.

Characters aren't really the problem, it's the development of a story to justify their use that's what's bugging me.

I had considered a couple of your suggestions in the past. Iron Miaden had caught my attention before when I'd browsed the PDSH wiki.

Hmm you could make a poll of your top five most developed ideas then have folks vote on where they think it should go :)

Mostly it's a matter of finding inspiration. Developing a good hook into a story idea that makes me want to create it. I'm just lacking that at the moment.

Ahh I see that's a pity as my idea wouldn't quite help with that... hmmm ya could do something with them actually in the jungle!

I do want to, I have let the comic drift away quite a bit due to that lengthy Earth-N story.

Aye that lost a bit of focus there near the end, no offence. That or the passion just burned out? Either way much as we love the concrete jungle time to return to that bonafide jungle!
