Kaza's Mate Gwenna @TheCosmicBeholder's Demon's Dagger story is being updated on my Comic Fury site weekly. It will continue through September 12th. The week after that on September 19th, my new story will start and be posted twice weekly on Mondays and Thursdays. So far I have nine pages for the comic completed, with a few more in various stages of development. Since my usual method for my comics doesn't involve any script, I tend to draw the comics in sequential order, one after another. Occasionally I have to go back and create some more pages to help make the story work better. Over all, the story unfolds for me and the audience as I draw it. This time I actually started with a page from somewhere near the middle and I'm navigating towards that point. It's providing some challenges to build the puzzle around that one piece, but in some senses it's made things easier since I know where I need to take the story. Since I clear idea where I'm going with this story, plus a good
Twelve Years and counting.
July 5th is the day I posted the first Kaza's Mate Gwenna page, way back in 2010. I had played around with a few previous webcomic projects on Keenspace (now ComicGenesis) and Webcomics Nation. Those fizzled out after about 50 pages or so when I lost interest and momentum. I'd gotten a Deviant art account a while before, and taking a bit of inspiration from Loxie & Zoot, it's follow-up The Bare Pit, and a lot of Golden Age jungle comics, Kaza and Gwenna was born. This was my first comic that really garnered any attention, so I kept at it. The feedback I got here was what encouraged me to keep working on this comic and developing more stories. That also lead me to creating a ComicFury page, and to really involve myself with the community on the site. So here we are: 12 years, 369 pages of comics, 44 various exchanges on Comic Fury, six different jobs, three* Presidents, and a move from Texas to North Carolina and back to Texas. All the while this comic is one of the few constants in

Kaza's Mate Gwenna Since we have the house set up and everything settled, I've tried to get back into the pattern of working on some art every day. I tend to wake up early, so I usually have an hour or so I can get behind the computer and work on some pages. I had sketches for four more Crash Landing pages sitting in my files, and I've been inking and coloring them every morning. To finish off the story, I realize I need to add a few more pages to the story. Crash Landing should end up clocking in at 40-42 pages. After Crash Landing, I already have the next story in the works. It will be continuing @TheCosmicBeholder's adventures of Kaza in New York alongside Jung-La and the Odds, plus a few other characters. I showed off some of the sketches I had come up with before we got moved in here, but the inked page is a bit earlier. The final pages for these sketches will look quite different. They will end up as 4-5 panel pages like that first piece. Airboy and the Air Fighters I
