Hello dear watcher kind or curious enough to read this, I would like to take a moment to announce my Tumblr, Sky Manatees. http://jayrtook.tumblr.com/ It's been around for a few months, but I believe I finally have to time to begin giving it a bit more attention. I have been making art over the past several months, and just not posting it on dA, but the time for doing that has now come to an end and I will begin posting here, and on my Tumblr regularly. Before I start complaining, let me just say that I am very grateful for my life. That aside, the past six days have been nothing but reminders of how I am no longer in New York. I stare around at ugly dead trees and ugly fat rednecks and all the rest of the ugly south and I KNOW that I am not on Manhattan. I want to be on Manhattan. I guess this place will be better when it's green again, but that really seems like it's not actually going to happen this year. And in that case, I want to go back to New York. Yeah. Over spring break, myself and a handful of art students went to New York City, and I can honestly say it was one of THE best time

So I haven't written a journal in over a month. It's not that there has been nothing to say, it's just that I've never taken the time to say it. The semester is coming to an end, and I must say, my feelings about it are so tragically mixed that they are mostly just a little pile of mush. A rather pathetic example of this is that I will only have three more days of work; I am glad, because I won't have to get up early for work anymore, but I'm kinda sad, because I won't get to stalk the attractive math tutor anymore. For reals, though, I'm gonna miss my co-tutor, and kinda miss helping people.  Well, I will miss helping people, I won't miss t
