This is a page from my epic saga "Lucy Lastique", from a story called "Ancients" which showed some elements of the mythos from the distant past. So here we see an ancient version of Lucy and her sister Pfuff, who lived in an ancient tribal society on the mysterious and cosmically significant planet Priapus from which, it appears, humanoid life spread across the Galaxy. At least, humanoid life with pointy ears did, anyway.

At the time I was trying out a technique of rendering everything grayscale then colouring afterwards, which I think produced a nice effect but turned out to be rather too laborious for everyday comic pages and also seemed to be more appropriate to more organic subject matter and not a good fit to the simple modernist settings of Teh Future, so I've now gone back to straightforward inks and colours.

Very nice! I like how you've kept suspense in there by not showing Lucy from the front or her sister's face. We're immediately in a story, as opposed to just looking at a picture.

Nice décor, too.

Well, the obscured face was a bit of a "make a feature out of a bug" :)

Glad you like it!
