at the back you can see the 'mama' tungurahua volcano, its activity restarted in august of 1999.
the tungurahua name comes from the quichua words tunguri (throat) + rahua (fire) = throat of fire

el nombre tungurahua viene de las palabras quichuas tunguri (garganta) + rahua (fuego) = garganta de fuego
