Avalon - First Album Cover

I've been sitting on the idea of doing an album spread for Avalon for over a year, but I didn't really have any direction I wanted to go with it. It's no secret that music artists evolve their look over time. I considered the possibility of what Avalon might look like eight to nine years younger, and then I thought it would make a great first album cover. 

I was partly inspired by Madonna's first album cover, which featured only her face, and then her name twice in opposing directions. However, it was the monochromatic presentation that really stood out to me. 

I had a lot of fun with this. Maybe I'll do more album covers with his more modern look. Probably won't be for a while though. Got some things to get ready for in the coming months.
