This is a photo I took for my Photography class. The assignment was to capture some form of motion (its counterpart assignment was to capture an unnatural looking "stop" in motion). At first, I wasn't sure that I liked it, but after getting the review back from my teacher and taking the time to look at the photo, I began to like it.

Taking it was extremely painful. It was on an overpass above the freeway, it was the worst part of winter this year, and the wind was blowing like crazy. Not only that, but I had to position the tripod-mounted camera so that the lens viewed through a chain-link fence. I think that without that angle, the image wouldn't have been as effective.

Anyway, I only had to make a few adjustments after processing the RAW file; some curves and saturation improvements in photoshop.

Tell me what you think...
