Sliding in under the wire to submit this! Guaranteeing a three-week completion on this commission really got my butt in gear when it came to pushing through and working on this, and I'm proud to have gotten it done c:

This lovely lady is for Mythos-Studios, who wanted something lighter on the surface but more sinister at second glance for her character with a split personality. I tried to capture this by setting her at the edge of a dark wood, walking the line between light and shadow. (Deep, or just an excuse for me to incorporate backlighting? Who knows?) I was a little worried about her intricate design and painting those boots, but it all came together much more smoothly than I'd expected. Also, the alternative title to this piece is now 'boots with da fur'.
