418 Faces, The DeviantArt Mega Portrait Project
From Sept, 2009 until December 2010 I collected photos from and drew the face of 418 members of DeviantArt.com I received photos from people all over the world. It was huge challenge and a lot of work. It was also an incredible experience. In a very unique way I was able to connect with so many diverse fellow humans, a way that would be nearly impossible even just 20 years ago.
With all the practice, I feel like I gave my self a Master's class in face drawing.
So, here they are all 418. Alphabetically organized too! Download the file to see it larger... and you should buy a print so you can see all the detail
***PLEASE Check out the accompanying VIDEO***
It features original music goodness and all 418 portraits in HD quality:

I did my main comment via YouTube, but in whole this is a massive task and accomplishment.
Something I didn't mention was how I have certainly changed since then. I think that photo I gave you to sketch was the highlight of my life so far so it's extra special to see that immortalised.
Also I will add again how everyone is different and how that's exaggerated especially on the video with them all flashing by. This isn't just in looks but mannerisms as well. It also must have been a huge jump in improvement for your own art skill.
