This is my first attempt at making a Wee Planet. I must say it was a lot more challenging than I thought it would be. I have taken quite a few pano pics, but nothing like this, and with no tripod. Plus my usual pano software doesn't handle this tipe of projection.

*** Edit ***
I HAD taken the pic of the top of the tree... I had to redo the whole panorama and I upped the contrast a bit but I think it looks a little better now. =D

Really nice !
Not perfect, some problems with the stitching and overstretched trees, but I know it's not easy to do...
Have to try it myself one day.

Thanks for the comment and for adding Green Wee Planet to your collection =) I appreciate it.
Yes, there are indeed come stitching issues, it was my first attempt and although I was somewhat pleased with the result (in fact it turned out better than I had initially thought it would) but it was far from perfect.
About the overstretched trees, they aren't really overstretched; they are really tall trees and the tallest was close to me so it looks really huge (one of the drawbacks of using stereographic projection is that the closer an object the bigger it looks).
Another problem I had when taking this panorama was that I foolishly neglected to use AE lock, so I had a whole range of diferently exposed images (not good at all for panoramas... at least I managed to control it somewhat by effective blending and a little postwork in Photoshop) but I won't be making that mistake again ;p. Please check out my second attempt at a wee planet [link]
