Hi! I am an amateur machinima filmmaker using The Movies, and I've finished several full length features based on different stuff during the years.

I was browsing through the net looking for Metal Gear Solid fanmade adaptation, and scripts based on IPs that I like, and discovered your page! I'm now going through the rabbit hole of your account, discovering interesting new stories.

I'd love to adapt MGS, and even more of these (haven't finished checking this all out). Also, if you'd like to collab, I would be more than willing to do so. I have ideas for adaptations, and I think you have the talent to adapt existing IP while adding depth and complexity to the world of the original.

Here's my channel if you'd like to take a look at the style: https://www.youtube.com/@stormbreaker.dlr6. I've always wanted to do a MGS adaptation, and maybe if you enjoy the experience, we could work together in something we both enjoy!

Thanks for your time! Cheers :)

Yeah, I can see that. What language are they speaking? Is that Spanish? Portuguese? I didn't understand a word they were saying xD But I can see you also like to make LONG movies :D

Wow, really? One guy said to me that people don't usually search for fan scripts on DA, but I'm happy to see that they do :D They do also appear on regular Google search, I've tested. I have lots of scripts based on various IPs, accumulated in long period of time.

Thanks for your kind words. Yeah, I think have talent to add depth and complexity to the world of original :D

I would like to collab, BUT I'm busy with my other projects, they take all my time. But I'm willing to hear your ideas, maybe on MGS2 adaptation? Snake being the lead the whole way? Or on other IP? It would be COOL if I could link your movie to my script :D But it will take a long time before I get to it.

Thanks for answering back! Yeah, they are done in Spanish, since it's where I'm from. It also takes me a long time to make them, but as you can see, I finish the job haha. Right now I'm doing a Punisher movie, and then I'll think about what to do next. I think a MGS fanfilm adaptation would be cool to do, I've always wanted to do so.

There are some other IPs that have been in my mind for a while:

- Sherlock Holmes (I love the RDJ movies and I really wish there were more)

- Psi-Ops: The Mindgate Conspiracy (this PS2 game had huge potential, and I love the psychic powers stuff)

- Deadly Premonition (as a fan of David Lynch and Twin Peaks, one of the game stories I've enjoyed the most, I could see it getting expanded into 2/3 movies).

- Batman (based in the Arkhamverse vibes and design, but it's own thing, starting from the beginning kinda like Origins, but more cinematic and with more Bruce Wayne development).

As I said I'm interested in doing MGS in the future. I'd love to see your take in MGS2, personally I'd keep the dual protagonist roles, since I think Raiden was a cool subversion.

Let's keep in touch! I'm interested to see what you're working on :D

Cheers!

Hey there, mate! I'm a little hesitant to suggest this since I saw another comment where you mentioned you don't know how to do racing movies. However, given that the movie is having a resurgence in popularity due to its cult status and its recent IMAX theater re-release, I figured I'd at least bring it up.

What do you think about doing a sequel to Speed Racer (2008)? Again, I saw that comment about you saying you don't really know how to do racing movies, but the universe of Speed Racer is so much more complex than simply the racing itself. In the original anime, which I was a big fan of as a kid, racing usually has connections to criminal groups, supervillains, and sometimes even world governments, jockeying for power, money, revenge, etc. In the movie, they took that idea even further by making megacorporations sponsoring drivers to duke it out for immeasurable wealth.

But that's not the only angle the movie plays. For some more context, watch this video by Patrick H. Willems:

I didn't pick up on the "racing is art" angle until this video pointed it out to me, and that made the movie so much more profound to me, cuz dammit if the Wachowskis don't love their symbolism.

I think that this movie not only should have a sequel, it pretty much deserves one, and given that there's a lot of source material to draw from, it might be fun to work on a Speed Racer trilogy that continues the "racing is art" angle.

If you haven't seen the movie (which honestly I'm not sure if you have), PLEASE GO WATCH IT BEFORE YOU WATCH THIS ANALYSIS, it is genuinely amazing.

Yo, yo, yo, mate! :D

Yeah, I think I saw it on TV once, I vaguely remember it, it didn’t exactly lit my world on fire xD But it was on my bucket list to watch, so I rented it to see what’s the big deal, watched it and then watched Patrick’s analysis of it, and yeah...It has colourful images and moving pictures xD Fights were cool and funny, time when Wachowskis knew how to make action. Chimp was the best actor in the whole movie xD, nowadays they would do it fully with CGI, babies and animals. Allegory to movie business was neat, well, for all kinds of business, the age old question of profit versus passion. And it does have unique visual style, I have hard time to remember any other movie with that kind of style like from beginning to the end, it’s definitely those 300 and Sin City type movies.

Speed Racer reminded me of Megarace, now THAT’s a cult classic xD Games where live action people were used in the cutscenes or as playable characters, backgrounds were fake as shit xD But still it fails to tickle my fancy, it was too...cartoonish for me, I don’t know, sports and racing, it just doesn’t do it for me, not matter how complex you make it :D

that's fair enough, I guess. Just thought I'd bring it up since it seems like the kind of movie you'd like lol

and if you've been wondering where the hell the Star Wars scripts I've been doing are, I'm working on my script for Episode VII now. Since I know it's not gonna ever get made as a movie, I'm removing the limits of runtime entirely (since I was inspired by DarthAngelus' Heir to the Empire series and planning to release my episode VII as an animated film serial, if I can get it working), so the script might end up being twice as long as a normal script lol

I just got finished with rewriting the bit where Finn wakes up post-crash and that's 150 pages in.

lol xD Yeah, it's close, but I like little bit more realism on my porridge :D What's ironic is that 300 and Sin City did got sequels and both sequels SUCK BALLS, Speed Racer's sequel would've also, probably, most likely sucked, I could've fixed that, but pulling one fully out of my ass, yeah, no thanks, sounds painful xD

After SEVEN years, Disney Star Wars gave us The Mandalorian and Grogu, yeah, no thanks, it ended on season 2 for me, everything after that is just a cash grab, selling toys, all artistic integrity is gone. Star Wars: Starfighter better have Darth Talon or I'm NOT seeing that shit either. The bar is so low that your Star Wars project sounds more exciting in comparison. And yeah, I've also followed DarthAngelus' Heir to the Empire series, the man has passion for the OG trilogy sequel before Disney, before the dark times xD I've also followed Loresmith's AI produced Star Wars content, I originally got hooked because of his Metal Gear 1 and 2 adaptations, but recently he's done Old Republic content like Kotor: The Sith Lords and Darth Bane. So animated serial could be a way to go :D

But today I HAVE to go to the theatre and see another Youtube creator's movie: Backrooms. I've followed Kane Parsons' backrooms series from very beginning, it has a very rich lore and original horror involving liminal spaces, very cool shit. The HYPE is REAL :dummy:
