2 months old exactly with her papa. We were in the park on this day and it was so blisteringly hot the past few days, this particular day we decided to go out for a picnic, food and drink had just got placed out on a blanket on the grass, my other half had just cracked open a tasty cider then all of a sudden it started to spit with rain and a thunderstorm pursued with lots of cracks of lightning.

So so typical in Europe 
I remember, this one time when we got to go to the beach in a very hot day; 5 minutes after we got there, started to rain... Thunderstorms and all. Almost everyone left; 10 minutes later, there was no sign of rain and thunders

Our weather has a habit of playing tricks on us! Rain happens a lot, especially in short bursts like you mentioned
