My Bio
Since about 12 years I create digital art. More specifically I love to create and to manipulate computer-generated fractal images and sometimes photos. I'm interested in the hidden realities behind our every-day-life-experiences. Fractals often seem to express or describe these realities.
I always have been fascinated by surrealism. Dali, Magritte, Willink, Hausner, Johfra, Beksinsky, Rabus, Resch and many other surrealists and magic-realists are sources of inspiration. More recently I've also been inspired by many digital artists here on DA. Tools of the trade: Mandelbulb 3D, Ultrafractal , Xenodream, Chaoscope, Apophysis and Photoshop.

You're welcome! :)

I now consider it essential to watch anybody who can navigate the Mandelbulb Set and extract and render tiny details of it that may resemble anything the artist can imagine that my do him honour, but knowing his way around the SET doesn't enable an artist to 'finish' a picture or render anything that looks more believably real than the incredible 4-D fractal itself. Those who can do that and aren't just after gaudy patterns but have a degree of aesthetic judgement in the choice of colour palette, textures and 'style 'for the rendering really have my attention. the choices involved are clearly transfinite in number.

Thank you so much for including some of my artworks in your magnificent collection of favourites. I agree totally with your comment about really interesting fractal art. My personal favourite is Mandelwerk aka Johann Andersson. I didn't see much new artwork of him lately. He seems to be busy with designing and selling 3D printed work. I hope to see newer work of him in the future.
Mandelwerk has his own folder: www.deviantart.com/aegiandyad/… I suspect it to be incomplete. Either that or it's time to favour a few more.
