Boltaire Art: Crystie's Gemstone

On the occasion Father creates children through the Gemstones, they may exhibit a quirk or defect that even now he hasn't figured out how to prevent or eliminate. Sometimes it takes years for these quirks to make themselves known, and in Crystie's case she was hit with hers pretty hard around her adolescent years. Initially she only had to worry about a weaker immunity to her native element (Ice), but as she grew older she noticed her body started to emit heat-penetrating air; making life difficult for not only her but those that dared to be around her. If it weren't for that last shred of immunity she still has, she'd become eternally frozen in a matter of moments.

Deep down she's a helpless girl who craves some love & support from her brothers & sisters, yet feels guilty whenever they offer it to her knowing they're likely hurting from the cold air. Because of this she's grown into a quiet shut-in who only confides her feelings to Father & Ignus; two dorks who also happen to be immune to the cold around her body. The only other thing that helps keep her mind off the cold air is whenever she partakes in field missions; preferably the most rigorous that can be given to her. She's among those most skilled athletes of Father's Children and is a beast all her own in combat (funny coincidence her former mentor happens to be Boltaire's Older Bro, Leonite).

Despite Father's best efforts to help her combat this crux, she's slowly but surely been losing faith that she'll ever return to normal ...
