Tiny Book Process by JamesDarrow Tiny Book Process by JamesDarrow
I decided to redo the process on a mini book, only because each time I make a book I want to make it smaller and smaller. So small that the universe has to fold in on itself for anything to make sense.

Now I make the smaller books with only paper, no fabric and very little glue.

Ask if you have questions, otherwise I didn't feel like writing out each step.

This takes about 10 minutes.

Excellent.
I had 2 itty bitty books [about 1.5" square] that I've lost.
The quality was really amazing.

Thanks.

:aww: Oh wow. I didn't think you can make a book almost the same size as a penny. People can make a mini versions of anything. This is a very nice craft you made. And cute. It's also cute. This tutorial will be helpful once I get the materials and try it out myself. Except mine's would be an inch bigger at least. I might accidently crush it with my giant fingers. :giggle:

What kind of paper did you use? I can see it's not some regular paper that tears up easily. And if you use some coating to protect it from wear and tear, what is it? It looks like something I would use as a keychain.

Thank you! Good luck with yours, I'd love to see how it turns out.
I have an indepth tutorial that explains everything in detail (you can apply the same ideas just on a much smaller scale if you want) here.

The only thing I use to protect the edges is some no sew glue, but if it's a paper cover I don't bother with anything. If you find some scrap leather you can make some really adorable leather journals. Like these.

Leave the pages blank.
Create a title, such as....

*All the things I learned ---
about women
in school

*People that think you're funny

It's like the people that make tiny origami.. only it's a book.. my fingers are most defiantly not that nimble. Thank you for another tutorial. ^__^

I think the universe is already folding in on it's self...

Yeah, no kidding about that xD

I was quite keen on the idea of how small I could make one and I got to the point where I was using toothpicks and tweezers before I gave up even trying to get the signatures connected;;

I don't know about that, just eccentric when it comes to impractical miniatures. :la:

Hehe I suppose we all have our little quarks of weird stuff we do that others could never do, mine would be listening to the same song for a whole day. >_> Cause apparently it would drive others crazy.

But miniatures are pretty cool, my brother has done that with origami cranes He's made some so small I wonder how he even does it. ;A;

That's just one of those crazy human things :)
I always wonder the next time I hear a song that I listened to nonstop what I even heard in it. I'm usually thinking 'why won't this song go away?!' each time it comes on.

Oh! I saw some small ones (maybe not as small) for earrings at a local artist co-op. (≧∇≦)

Hehe, humans are weird creatures to be sure. ^__^

I'm sure they were pretty close to the size he made, they would make adorable earrings though too!
