There was no other conclusion to the story, guys. This hurts me as much as it hurts you, believe me. I got a bit teary eyed when drawing this. I've been drawing these characters since 2013, it's inevitable to form some sort of attachment with them.

That being said, I think this and the next one are both my favorite pages of the whole comic. I'm very happy with how that last panel came out, and I also had a lot of fun using different hues and light sources to set the mood in every panel, especially the last one where everything is warm and peaceful except for Hurricane's body which is cold and drenched in green unnerving tones.

I was quite sad towards the end when I had to stop working on this page.
