I am nothing but satisfied with how this page came together, and even more so considering I had to do two pages of this comic within a month. Let's hope next month isn't as hectic, but then again we can also hope rain starts falling upwards. Some things aren't just meant to be, you know what I'm saying? But anyways, page is done and it's the darkest one by far in terms of tone and atmosphere.
This is perhaps the first time I was legitimately perturbed by what I was drawing. I took inspiration from the works of William Blake and Hieronymus Bosch for the scenes of pony genocide and death, and I'm not going to lie I kind of need a break after drawing something this depressing. You know how sometimes you need to get out one or two really sad/grim/gory drawings because you're dealing with depression and anxiety? Well I guess I let those feelings take a hold of me when drawing this. I feel I'm kind of done, for now at least. Who knows what the future awaits?
Please, feel free to share your ideas, thoughts and theories in the comments.
We do promise to get a page out each month at the very least, but there is a way you can help us with getting these out faster, and that is to support
on Patreon. He's paying for all the pages and currently is struggling to not just support this project but other art comic projects of his as well.
HERE'S THE PAGE!
Every and all support is welcome. If you donate more money to him, he can pay me for the future comic pages faster, as well as any other projects we plan on working together for such as his big project “Fallen Dusk” which you can read about on his patreon milestone goal list.
We are glad to be working on this again and we hope you guys donate so this comic can continue forward without delay.
Please, let me know what you think, of both this page and the series, in the comments.

Well, perhaps that wouldn't be so bad. The slow death of the pegasus nation places a great burden of responsibility on Commander Hurricane, and by association upon you. But if there's no you then there can be no responsibility. If there is no pegasus nation then there is nopony to fail. The world has gotten so very complicated, but in another two and a half days it will all be perfectly simple.
I'd rather the abyss didn't react anyway. It's not a comfortable feeling to know that the abyss is staring back. But then again, it's a little weird to acknowledge the abyss at all. Nothingness is a weird concept. I'm not sure if we can even fully comprehend nothingness, or if we merely fool ourselves into thinking we've comprehended it. We think of it as simple and peaceful, but is it really right to apply adjectives to it at all? It's not so much a noun as it is a lack of nouns, so wouldn't that imply that it can only be described by a lack of adjectives? Sometimes I think of all the projects, most of them trivial, that I would leave unfinished were I to die today, and I don't know if I should care now to make up for the fact that I won't care when I'm dead.
