Fanart - MLP. Xormak the Gryphon

Commission for drawn for my friend 's Charity Stream.

Based directly on Xormak's OC Pony, this is a picture that pretty much came out on its own. Xormak wanted just his OC pony turned into a gryphon and wearing a suit of armor, but I added the blizzard and windy setting, perhaps as a way to give the armor meaning and keep it consistent with the character. I don't know how virulent the blizzard he is going through is, but I'm sure his wings can withstand it. He's not a measly bird, but a full grown strong gryphon with the strength of an eagle and a lion combined.

Also, I based those swords on Skyrim. My sister was playing the game when I was drawing this, and she found a crystal sword or something like that. Crystal swords are cool, but they have to be very impractical during combat. They'd break very often, wouldn't they? But they are cool, what the hell.
