I am not going to lie, this was joyous to work on.

Very rarely I have the chance to mash up two things into a commission, especially two things of which I am a big fan of. I kind of arrived late to the "Steven Universe" party but I think it's one of the best animated shows I've ever watched in a long time, so when Fernin came to me with the idea of making a crossover with Friendship is Magic I didn't even hesitate and said yes to it. It was hard to work on, I won't deny that. There were points at which Photoshop was dragging 1,8GB of RAM while I was working on this (yeah, part of that is because Photoshop is a RAM-Hungry bastard, but it's what I know how to use best, so it can't be helped). In the end I had more fun than suffering with it, and that's exactly what counts.

In the mash up of characters we have Princess Cadence as Rose Quartz, Twilight Sparkle as Pearl, Applejack as Garnet, Pinkie Pie as Amethyst, and Spike as Steven Universe. Deciding which character would be who was the easiest part of the process though, but I'd like to hear what you guys think of our choices. Do you like them? Who would you have put instead?
